Sizzling Garlic Prawns


If you’ve ever wished you could recapture the tantalising tastes from your summer holiday once you get home, give this simple recipe a try. It couldn’t be easier to whip up a delicious plate of Spanish-influenced garlic prawns as a super starter to any meal. This easy recipe is guaranteed to take your taste buds on a nostalgic trip back to the Mediterranean!



4 tablespoons Carotino Healthier Cooking Oil

4 garlic cloves, finely chopped

2 fresh red chillies, chopped and deseeded

450g cooked king prawns

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Salt and pepper to season

Garlic prawns



Heat the Carotino Healthier Cooking Oil in a frying pan over a low heat. Add the garlic and chillies and fry for around 2 minutes, stirring occasionally until they are softened.  Add the prawn and fry for another two to three minutes, until heated thoroughly and soaked in the mixture. Add the chopped parsley and stir well then season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve as a starter with crusty bread and a slice of lemon.
