Wine and Herb Marinade


This simple marinade is perfect for adding flavour to any meat, fish or vegetables before roasting, grilling or BBQ-ing. It's made with vitamin-rich Carotino Healthier Cooking Oil to add extra nutrients as well as flavour.

4tbsp/90ml Carotino Healthier Cooking Oil

3 tbsp/45ml wine vinegar (red or white)

Fresh mixed herbs, finely chopped.   

 (eg. parsley, thyme, sage, coriander.)

2 cloves garlic, finely chopped

1 tsp/5ml coarsely ground black pepper


Mix the ingredients together and pour over meat, fish or vegetables. Leave in a cool place such as a fridge for several hours, or overnight. Add a pinch or two of salt to taste and use the marinade to baste the food while cooking.
